"How Do You Measure Your Life?"

Stewardship of Time, Talent and Treasure:

Lord, would you please help us give as much of ourselves to you

as you give of yourself to us.

Vestry Statement on Stewardship of Financial Giving 2016

We believe:      “all things come from You O Lord, and of your own have we given back

                            to You.”          I Chronicles 29:14
We believe:       that giving of our treasure to support God’s work is as necessary for

spiritual health as giving of our time and talent.
We believe:       that growing to the tithe and beyond is the standard of Christian giving.

We commit:      to a personal lifestyle of Christian stewardship that reflects God’s generosity.
We commit:      to giving thankfully, sacrificially and proportionally from our blessings.
We commit:      to growing our giving to reach the tithe and beyond.

We invite you:  to review your own giving practices to Jesus’ work through Prince of Peace Church.
We invite you:  to give proportionally (a set percentage of your income) for ministry.
We invite you:  to grow your financial giving each year until you reach the tithe and beyond.

You Are the Greatest!  He who is generous will be blessed….Proverbs 22:9a. Our congregation has generously sponsored and donated a total of 77 Operation Christmas Child boxes to send God’s love to children across the world. When the children receive these boxes they are taught about our savior, Jesus Christ. These boxes will show these hurting children, in a tangible way, God’s love for them.
